| Heather Mooney is a certified riding instructor who has been training and competing in Southern California for the past 6 years. A Knoxville native, Heather decided to return to the area and teach riding lessons with an emphasis on safety as well as fun. She received her certification from Richard Shrake, an icon as a professional in the horse industry for over 40 years. Heather rode with Richard at the world famous Flag is Up Farms, home to Monty Roberts and his family. In 2007 she showcased her horses’ talent over fences and on the flat resulting in the award of the Mary Horn Perpetual Trophy for top adult rider. She teaches beginning Western to advanced English lessons. “My goal is to have every lesson start and end on a positive note for both the horse and rider!” | ||
